Energy Savings Assistance Program
Save money and energy with professional energy-saving home improvements at no cost to you.
How to Apply
Whether you are a renter or homeowner, you may be eligible to receive energy-saving home improvements.
Home improvements are done from an authorized contractor at not cost through the Energy Savings Assistance Program. Complete the online interest form, and a representative will contact you with more information about this program. To complete the form by phone, call 1-800-331-7593.
How the Energy Savings Assistance Program Works
- Once you submit an interest form or call 1-800-331-7593, we will determine your eligibility for the program. If eligible, you will be referred to an authorized contractor in your area. An authorized contractor may also visit your home to offer the program’s services in person. The contractors that represent the Energy Savings Assistance Program thoroughly comply with all COVID-19 safety regulations. When working at a customer’s home, they adhere to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) safety protocols and guidelines as well as state and local health guidelines.
- The authorized contractor will schedule a phone, video, or in-person appointment to discuss your enrollment. During this appointment, the contractor will determine if your home qualifies for the program by asking questions about your home and appliances. If your home meets the requirements, the contractor will complete the enrollment process with you. You will also receive tips on how you can save energy (see the Statewide Energy Education Guide linked below).
- The contractor will schedule a date and time to perform the in-home service(s).
- After the installation(s), you may be contacted by an inspection contractor to schedule a follow-up visit to ensure all improvements were installed properly.
