2008 Residential Rebate Program
The 2008 Home Energy Efficiency Rebate Program offers cash rebates on qualifying energy-efficiency upgrades or improvements made to single family homes, condominiums, or attached residential units (maximum of four.)
- Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.
- To qualify, energy-efficient products must be purchased and installed on or after January 1, 2008.
Instant Rebates
Now, The Gas Company and participating retailers are making it easy for customers to receive rebates instantly on
- 2008 ENERGY STAR-qualified clothes washers
- 2008 ENERGY STAR-qualified dishwashers
- 2008 ENERGY STAR-qualified natural gas water heaters
There is no need to fill out an application and wait for a check. Instead, simply locate the rebate coupon at the participating retailer and present it at the point of sale to have the rebate amount taken off the purchase price. Please note that not all items are available at all participating retailers.
Mail-in Rebates
Start by calling 1-888-431-2226 BEFORE you buy to confirm product eligibility and availability of funds, and to determine if rebate applications are still being accepted. Qualifying clothes washers, dishwashers, furnaces, water heaters, and insulation are covered.

If you are in the market for a Tankless Water Heater, you may qualify to receive a $200 rebate from The Gas CompanySM!
Home Energy Upgrade Financing
Under the Home Energy Upgrade Financing (HEUF) program you can qualify for $2,500 to $20,000 to purchase and install energy-efficient upgrades.
