For a Limited Time, Get 50% More On Eligible Residential & Multifamily Rebates!
From October 1, 2024, until November 30, 2024, all qualifying energy-efficient appliance purchases will receive an extra 50% rebate. No extra steps are needed. Your increased rebate will be automatically calculated. Eligibility requirements apply; see participating rebate programs’ conditions for details.
Participating Rebate Programs: Home Energy Efficiency Rebate Program, Multifamily Energy Efficiency Rebate Program (including Boiler Controllers), and the Multifamily Vended Clothes Washer Rebate Program (applies to only SoCalGas rebates).

1. Find eligible appliances at our Marketplace
Explore the wide selection of available rebates on energy-efficient products from the Marketplace.
2. Purchase appliances and apply
Purchase eligible energy-efficient and ENERGY STAR® certified appliances.
3. Check your rebate status
Submit your rebate application online or by mail and track the status here. (Proof of purchase and account number required).
Appliance Rebates
Rebate will not exceed the purchase price of the unit. Purchase price does not include sales tax or other taxes, installation, shipping, or delivery or any associated costs. New construction homes do not qualify.
You may also be eligible for federal tax credits with the purchase of qualifying ENERGY STAR appliances. Learn more.
ENERGY STAR Solar Thermal Water Heating System
Receive a $2,500 to $4,500 rebate on ENERGY STAR certified solar thermal systems with a gas water heater backup. Must have a Solar Uniform Energy Factor (SUEF) of 1.8 or greater. In addition, a new installation of an ENERGY STAR certified water heater in conjunction with the solar installation is required. Limit one per household.7

2024 Application: Download the 2024 mail-in form (PDF) for measures purchased and installed January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024. Applications must be postmarked no later than December 31, 2024, to be eligible for the rebate. Rebate amounts are subject to change and may be modified without prior notice.
Please be sure the email address you provide on your application is accurate. Any incomplete application status notifications will be sent via email from the SoCalGas rebate processing staff. SoCalGas does not share email addresses for marketing purposes.
Rebate Payment Information
Payments will be issued by the Choice Digital Corporation, a third party disbursement processor on behalf of SoCalGas. Please note: Your payment may be in the form of a digital Prepaid Mastercard® or a physical Prepaid Mastercard®.
SoCalGas has contracted with Choice Digital Corporation, a third party disbursement processor, to process energy efficiency incentive rebate payments to SoCalGas' customers in connection with the Home Energy Efficiency Rebate Program.

This program is funded by California utility customers and administered by Southern California Gas Company under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Program funds, including any funds utilized for rebates or incentives, will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until December 31, 2024 or until such funds are no longer available.
