The safety of our customers, employees, and the communities we serve is our top priority. Reflecting on that commitment to safety, SoCalGas routinely performs various pipeline safety and maintenance tasks, including patrolling, inspecting, testing, repairing, and replacing pipelines.
We want to inform you that SoCalGas is performing a pipeline inspection project in Ventura. This scheduled pipeline safety work is unrelated to the modernization project. We appreciate your patience and cooperation throughout our process.
Project Details:
Start Date: June 3, 2024
Estimated End Date: August 30, 2024 (weather and other factors permitting)
Work Hours: Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Location: Work will take place on private property near the intersection of N. Olive St. and W. McFarlane Dr. in the City of Ventura.
What to Expect
- Construction is expected to take approximately three months
- Trucks and heavy equipment will be in the area
- Construction noise from equipment and crews
