Natural Gas Engine Improvements

Learn about the financial incentives available to agriculture customers when upgrading gas engines and the benefits of switching to a natural gas engine.

We offer financial incentives that can help lower the investment costs for the following improvements:

  • Conversions from rich-burn to lean-burn engines: This involves replacing old carburetion systems with advanced air-fuel-ratio control systems.
  • Engine rebuilds/replacements: These can help return the pump to its “best operating efficiency.”
  • Pump rebuilds/replacements: These can help return the pump to its “best operating point.”
  • Retrofitting the system with a crankshaft-stabilized electronic ignition.

For qualifying installations, we provide financial incentives of up to 50 percent of the cost of energy you save in one year.

Currently operating an electric or diesel engine for pumping water? We offer a no-cost, in-depth comparative analysis of common pumping alternatives. We can show you why natural gas may be the best fuel choice for you and how it may help lower your operating costs.
