Employee Resource Groups

At SoCalGas, we consider Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) as an integral component of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts. ERGs create additional spaces for employees to support one another and foster a sense of community while partnering with the business to positively impact company values with talent recruitment, professional development, and retention of employees. ERGs offer opportunities for members to network, receive professional development, and drive positive and sustained change related to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. All of our employees are eligible for membership in one or more ERGs regardless of how they identify. Current ERGs include:

CAPE is for Asian Pacific Islander (API) employees and allies.

RISE is for the women of SoCalGas and allies.

VIBE is for Black employees and allies.

Veterans Advancing Leading and Optimizing Results (VALOR) is dedicated to veteran employees and allies.

Gas Employees Network Toward Empowerment (GENTE) is for Hispanic/Latino employees and allies.
