From October 1, 2024, until November 30, 2024, all qualifying energy-efficient appliance purchases will receive an extra 50% rebate. No extra steps are needed. Central System Natural Gas Boilers
Get a rebate of up to $5 per mBtu for central system natural gas boilers. If your central system boiler is more than 20 years old, consider replacing it with a new one.
Central System Natural Gas Storage Water Heaters
Get a rebate of up to $6 per mBtu on central system natural gas storage water heaters. Central system water heaters are much less expensive to operate than electric systems.
Central System Natural Gas Tankless Water Heater Rebate
Get a rebate of up to $5 per mBtu on central system natural gas tankless water heaters. Water heater must not be used tor industrial purposes, water heater must replace existing gas equipment. Water heater for pool or spa does not qualify. Water heater may be used for space and water heating, or water heating only.
Controllers for Natural Gas Water Heaters/Boilers
An efficient controller can reduce natural gas consumption and reduce water heating bills by up to 20 percent. Save $700 on graph model controllers for buildings of 35 units or fewer. Save $1,400 on graph model controllers for buildings of 36 units or more.
If there is a demand-controlled recirculating pump previously installed at this site, the property may be ineligible for this measure.
In-Dwelling Natural Gas Tankless Water Heaters
Get a rebate of up to $1,200 on ENERGY STAR qualified in-dwelling tankless water heaters for multifamily apartment units (see rebate application for specification requirements). Must be replacing a conventional tank-type water heater in individual apartment units. Rebates are also available for solar water heating systems.
Energy-Efficient Residential Natural Gas Oven
$100 Rebate on qualifying energy-efficient residential freestanding natural gas ovens. $300 Rebate on qualifying energy-effiecent residential natural gas wall ovens. Limit one per household. Must be replacing an existing natural gas oven.
Natural Gas Fireplace Inserts
$300 rebate on qualifying natural gas fireplace inserts- Tier I (70-74.9 FE)
$500 rebate on qualifying natural gas fireplace inserts - Tier II (75 FE or greater)
Qualifying units must have an electronic pilot ignition.
